Welcome! Can you believe it? I've joined the throng of 21st century moms who blog.
I do this for several reasons. Primarily, I want to keep all of you up to date on the Taylor family happenings. I especially want to share pictures and stories of the boys with Jojo Rich, Papa Parry, Grandma BB and Uncle Dyke, who are not able to see the boys as frequently. I also want an easy way to communicate with all of you without repeating myself on the phone. Also, I'm looking for an easy way to capture some of my thoughts.
My blog is called "Tale of Two Taylors." Think of this as a modern day scrapbook, a video conference, an electronic journal or whatever. You are able to comment on my entries and, I believe, you can post pictures and/or videos you want to share. We'll give it a shot.
So, enjoy the blog. Here's Papa Gary playing with his two grandsons.
Please bear with me over the next few weeks (or months) while I figure out how to do this and get in the habit of posting new entries.

Beth, think it is so great you are starting to do this. I still remember you having to design a webpage for yourself back at U of I in 1996, and of course had your brother do all the work (I think I still have postcards and pictures you wanted me to scan for it in boxes somewhere). So now 13 years later, I wonder who you made put this together, hahahahaahahahaha.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you are doing this and do hope to see so much more about what is going in the life of your family and especially these two special boys. Would be good to get videos like Dad took of Isaac singing Baabaa Black Sheep up on here and Youtube. Hopefully not too overwhelming.
I do have to always make the correction, as my thesis is even about standardization of Chinese, that the correct phonetic spelling of brother-on-mothers-side (aka uncle) is Jiujiu...but of course I don't think I can expect you guys to change from Jojo/Joujou, haha. Can stop rolling your eyes now.
Look forward to these posts, as I do feel so far away from all of you, but so glad for things like Skype (would love one day to be able to chat with you & Chris and your boys that way...your next thing to learn too hehehe). Love you!
